📖 Moral Story: The Beggar's Self-Confidence (நீதிக்கதை - பிச்சைக்காரனின் தன்னம்பிக்கை)
A gentleman dropped a ₹5 coin into a beggar's bowl. Later, he returned and took pencils equal to the value of ₹5 from the beggar, saying, "After all, you are also running a business, aren't you?"
Six months later, the same beggar, dressed smartly as a gentleman (கணவானாக), attended a banquet. He approached the first gentleman and said, "I am in this good position because of you. You were the first person to treat me as a human (மனிதனாக மதித்த முதல் மனிதர்) in my life."
He explained that the act of taking pencils worth ₹5 revealed the hidden businessman (வியாபாரியை) within him. The impact of that minute, after a life of begging, inspired him to transform into a businessman and start working. He thanked the gentleman for his action, which caused him to reform, stop begging (பிச்சையெடுப்பதை நிறுத்தி), and begin his new life.
